Laurence Vandenborre is a Belgian fine jewelry designer based in Antwerp. At the age of 14 years she was already selling her own handmade jewelry set with Swarovski crystals. But her true dream? Designing and marketing her very own fine jewelry collection.
Following her Marketing & Management Master's degree and Graduate Gemologist diploma (from the GIA), Laurence worked for several years at HRD Antwerp (European leading authority in diamond certification) as lecturer & Marketing manager.
In 2018, Laurence launched her first collection: elegant and colorful one-of-a-kind pieces handmade in 18kt gold in her Belgian and Italian ateliers. Colored stones are the centerpieces of her capsules and are sourced all over the world. In fact, traceability and transparency are key points of Laurence’s work ethic and, as gemologist, she values the story each stone has to tell through a unique design and color combination.
