Back-to-Work Jewelry: The Must-Have Pieces for Autumn

The summer holiday season has officially ended and it’s back-to-work full time for those lucky enough to have taken vacations in July and August. With fall 2025 upon us, it’s the perfect moment to refresh our jewelry collections. This season, the focus is on inlaid or hardstone pieces: jewels with meaning, a pop of faceted color, or diamonds that add subdued glamour and wear anywhere appeal.

Shapes range from sculptural to geometric to organic, with pendant earrings, pinky and stack rings, and talisman pendants leading the way. Turquoise remains a seasonless favorite when paired with yellow gold, while lapis, malachite, red coral, tiger’s eye, black onyx, and black-and-white mother-of-pearl are creating buzz. These stones pair beautifully with an Indian summer and the first crisp chill of fall, perfectly complementing a cozy cashmere sweater as the leaves begin to turn.

Nadine Aysoy’s 18K yellow gold Eclipse Pinky Rings shown here feature malachite and lapis cabochon centers with diamond accents. While striking as a pinky ring, this versatile design can be worn on any finger and is available in a range of colored gemstones.

State Property’s 18K gold Alara Tigerlily Pendant features tiger’s eye carved in a fan shape, complemented by a central ruby cabochon and delicate diamond accents. The piece evokes the warmth and beauty of a captivating sunset.

Atelier Liya’s 18K gold Love Ring is reversible, featuring a turquoise heart bezel on one side and the word “love” spelled out in diamonds on the other. Wear it either way—depending on whether you want a subtle or more straightforward message. Also available in lapis, light coral, and red coral.

Rachel Quinn’s 14K gold Elongated Heart Earrings are sculpted for a timeless look with a nod to the Art Deco period. Hand-carved in black onyx, each heart is topped with 14K yellow gold ear wires and features bezel-set ruby drops at the tips. Sleek, chic, and perfect for work or cocktails, these earrings are also available in red coral, malachite, and other stones.

Nayla Arida’s 18K rose gold Large Abondance Necklace features carved malachite with diamond accents and is inspired by the symbolic meaning of fish in different cultures, as well as the craftsmanship of her native Beirut. Also available in turquoise.

Andre Marche’s 18K white gold Carved Mother-of-Pearl Floral Earrings are set with white diamonds and green garnets, offering a high-jewelry celebration of nature’s beauty.

State Property’s 18K gold Aebi Blood Moon Necklace is inspired by “voyages charted the unexplored.” Iridescent peacock mother-of-pearl evokes a magical feeling, centered with a pear-shaped ruby set at a graceful slant.

Joanna Dahdah’s 18K gold Merveilles Arcade Hoops in lapis lazuli with white diamond accents present an unexpected artisanal take on pendant earrings. Also available in other stones.
